Postdoctoral Associate, Carnegie Mellon University

I am a Postdoctoral Associate at Carnegie Mellon University. My research focuses on multimodal foundation models, medical AI, and visual reasoning, with broader interests in spatial and embodied intelligence. I build and evaluate systems that can interpret complex image-text data and reason reliably in specialized domains.

Before CMU, I spent two years as a Machine Learning Scientist at Seeing Machines, where I led development of in-cabin perception systems deployed in production vehicles by Volkswagen, BMW, and Ford. I earned my PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the Australian National University in 2022.
